This is the end of the developer that is opposite from the toner port that you inspected in Step 3. After carefully repositioning the dislodged gear, follow the steps below to re-install the image basket. It should now function properly.

As this issue might be caused by an impact during shipment of this product, this noise should not happen again once the gear is properly repositioned. Click here to view the steps on how to remove the image basket. If you notice that toner is filling the developer port, this indicates that the developer gear of that color may not be engaged.
Lift the blue levers as indicated on Figure 7 and pull the imaging unit toward you. Re-attach the right-side cover. Press down on the blue release button, grasp the green handles on the sides, and then pull the imaging unit out. Click the play button to hear the sample cartridge noise. The steps outlined below guide you on how to perform this.
